Mechanical Licensing
Mechanical Licensing Department licenses all sound recordings and carriers such as DVDs, CDs, Blu-rays, USBs, SD cards, LPs, enabling producers to release their works in compliance with copyright laws.
The Mechanical Licensing Department controls and licenses the musical works on productions released domestically and internationally on behalf of MSG members. In this process, royalties are collected on behalf of MSG members for licensed albums, and royalty fees are regularly distributed to MSG members every month.
The Mechanical Licensing Department aims to ensure fair and timely royalty payments to rights holders by managing licensing and distribution processes according to the tariffs set by MSG and international rules (BIEM).
