Membership Procedures

You can complete your membership procedures at MSG’s office in Esentepe or by using the membership documents available on our website. If you are outside Istanbul and do not use the internet, you can request the membership documents to be sent to your address by phone.

Required documents for MSG membership:

• The Membership Application Form and Authorization Document must be fully completed and signed on every page.
• The Work Notification Form must be filled out separately and signed for each work being registered.
• To accept the membership application, the applicant must provide evidence that at least one of their works has been publicly disclosed either on digital platforms (excluding social media services like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter; for YouTube, limited to videos uploaded by an intermediary company and considered production), or on radio, television, phonogram, opera, ballet, theater, or similar staged performances.
• For the digital platforms mentioned above, a publication link of the work must be provided. For works performed on radio, television, phonogram, opera, ballet, theater, or similar stages, a consent form and visual materials (such as brochures, booklets, flyers) proving the publication or performance must be submitted along with other required documents.
• A photocopy of your ID card and residence certificate, along with 2 photos.
• Proof of payment for the registration fee: 900.00 TRY for individuals, 15,000.00 TRY for legal entities.
• Proof of payment for the annual membership fee: 400 TRY for individuals, 2,000 TRY for legal entities.

If any of the above documents are missing, the membership cannot be processed. (Different information and documents are required for publisher companies, legal entity rights holders, and heir representatives—please check the relevant information accordingly.)

Membership Application Form, Authorization Document, and Work Notifications can be obtained from the MSG office or downloaded from the website. Documents must be sent to the MSG address by mail or courier. Faxed or emailed documents will not be accepted.
